What we collect

Nothing personal. We do not ask for your ID number, phone number, email, or name. We do not have accounts and there is no login.

What stays on your device

• Your quiz answers
• Your voting plan (time, transport, optional companion first name)
• Your pledge, if you make one (optional first name)
• Which fix-it steps you've marked as done

This information is stored only in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data removes it entirely.

Cookies

We use no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking. Any analytics used are anonymous and aggregate only — no individual profiles are built.

Third parties

When you click a fix-it link, you leave our site and land on the IEC's official properties (elections.org.za, IEC WhatsApp bot, or Home Affairs). Their privacy terms apply there.
